January 14, 2007 We rented the whole house four our party of 8 adults and 2 toddlers. Everybody loved it! Perhaps we'll try the B&B experience next time and the "abuelos" will come alone. We had a week of hot, cloudless weather. It was beautiful, but if you are here in August, enjoy the afternoons rainstorms!!

After all the huge compliments other guests have written in this book, it's hard to come up with something original. The fact that a lot of guests tend to stay at Villa Mango longer than planned, probably is one of the largest compliments for you as a host couple. And yes, we were one of those guests... Came for 2 nights and eventually stayed 5. Feeling sad to leave now and going to miss your care and interesting conversations. Waking up to the view of the waves crashing on the rocks far below was thrilling and we didn't have to move our heads from the pillow! Agnes' warmth made us feel welcome from the first moment and the feeling of being dear friends continued. The magic of seeing the coatis drinking from the pool was surpassed only by the fresh baked bread at breakfast. We love it here! I will miss Minette (cat) who loves my lap and vice versa. We will return...

I went in looking for a place Lisa and I could remember as a beautiful experience to begin our lives together, but left with amazing experiences and two new friends that we will cherish forever! You guys have something special that we can only hope to strive for the same. Villa Mango is a tropical paradise in every sense of the word. But above all, Lisa and I will never forget your warm hospitality and caring ways. I could honestly sit and listen to the two of you tell stories all day! You have a beautiful B&B, we loved our room, especially the hammock outside our room. The wild life was a special treat. We will never forget seeing monkeys right outside our window room. The spotted skunk was a crazy experience. I will cherish the memory of all of us cornering it to get it out of the kitchen. We won't miss the scorpions. But it was exciting and no one got stung. Also thanks for your help on the fire spinning project and rescuing me at the hardware store!! We are so sad to leave :-(
. Agnes & Jo, made us feel part of the family. On our first day here, I got bitten by a snake, `~~~~~~~(**)< and Agnes was so helpful talking to doctors and making phone calls. Breakfast was amazing and the views were unreal.
